Brief

Our goal was to design a kitchen that respects the heritage of a converted farmhouse whilst bringing a modern twist in Bolney while providing modern functionality for a contemporary lifestyle. The space needed to blend with everyday practicality, ensuring that the kitchen not only serves as the heart of the home but also married with the recent renovation and architectural details. The design reflects the client’s appreciation for authentic materials and craftsmanship, creating a inviting space for family and entertaining.

Design

We took an approach, that carefully aligned with the recent architectural details added by the client. Set within a spacious, open-plan area, the kitchen was designed to celebrate the building’s converted nature from traditional farmhouse to new family home. The layout was thoughtfully planned to encourage a natural flow, accommodating both daily family life and larger social gatherings.
